Kevin Donahue, Former School Committee Member, TMM P3
Working alongside Cheryl for years as a town meeting member and member of the school committee, I have been impressed with her dedication and professionalism. Cheryl’s deep institutional knowledge on the board will be critical to tackle challenging issues in a constructive and legal manner that ensures the best outcomes for Milton. Cheryl is a consensus driven policy maker who always has the best interests of the town in mind.
Taber Keally, Former Master Plan Committee, Milton Representative to Metropolitan Area Planning Council, Neponset River Watershed Association
Milton has been very lucky to have Cheryl Tougias as a member of the Milton Planning Board.
I have worked with Cheryl on Milton’s Master Plan starting in 2014-2015 and we have served together on the Master Plan Implementation Committee. Cheryl has been an outstanding volunteer for the town. Her background in architecture and construction helped us achieve successful outcomes in recent initiatives.
The rezoning of Milton Village would not have happened if it were not for her leadership as chair. She outlined the possibilities and potential, kept our committee on track and on schedule, and was a skilled negotiator throughout.
I enthusiastically endorse Cheryl Tougias for reelection to the Planning Board.
Doug Scibeck, TMM P6
Cheryl Tougias offers practical working solutions to the planning challenges Milton faces. She is well aware of the needs and concerns of each neighborhood. Through my volunteering with boards and committees I have seen her dedication up close. She has always been available to offer her experience and expertise whether to the Warrant Committee or the Local Historic District Study Committee, and her help has been invaluable. Cheryl has provides Milton a steady, experienced hand in navigating the challenges between the development we need and keeping our town the Milton we love.
Hyacinth Crichlow, Library Trustee, TMM P4
